Air Conditioning/Heatpumps & Ventilation Maintenance
Planned preventative visits should be considered if you have air conditioning equipment on your premises. The F Gas Regulations state that the responsibility for ensuring that a system is operating correctly and not leaking refrigerant resides with the operator / owner of the equipment. Your responsibilities (in brief) are as follows:
- Prevent leakage, and repair any leaks as soon as possible.
- Arrange proper refrigerant recovery by certified personnel during servicing and disposal.
- Carry out leak checks, ensure that only certified competent personnel carry out these checks.
- Maintain records of refrigerants and of air conditioning maintenance visits.
Orbit care services Ltd simplifies the job of compliance with the F Gas regulations through competitive maintenance to ensure the efficient operation of your equipment.
Regular maintenance can reduce running costs and increase the life expectancy of your air conditioning system.
The number of maintenance visits to an installation varies based upon the environment in which the air conditioning is installed.
A schedule of two visits minimum is recommended initially, with the situation being assessed at the first visit and recommendations made accordingly.
To simplify the process of regularly maintaining your system Orbit manages the whole process and intervals required.
